The training of Christians is a priority, or at least it should be. But training is not an easy task, it requires diligence and discipline. And yet, a well-formed, is more effective than other less educated. The times in terms of living the Christian faith does not leave room for improvisation. The improvising is out of play.
these lines does not surprise me that says the document of Aparecida: Vocation and a commitment today to be disciples and missionaries of Jesus Christ in Latin America and the Caribbean, require a clear and decisive choice for the training of members of our communities, for the sake of all the baptized, whatever the function developed in the Church. We look to Jesus, the Teacher who personally trained his apostles and disciples (n. 276).
Why train?
Because evangelism is a complex process. Therefore, the best understands its complexity, is able to do it better. For Therefore, the mission produced better effects when you know better.
When someone ignores the elements of the mission does things that have nothing to do with it. It falls into religious fanaticism. Decanted into the improvised, lost time and resources. And in the worst case, come to think that Christian doctrine, canon law and mission are used interchangeably, when in fact they are complementary.
What form?
To comply fully with the innate desire for a full life, that every person and every disciple experience in themselves: Monitoring is the result of a fascination that meets the need for human fulfillment, the desire for full life. The disciple is someone who is passionate for Christ, who is recognized as the teacher who leads and follows (Aparecida, n. 277) .
We formed to enter the dynamic of conscious discipleship, which is in clear opposition to gregariousness imposing the religion of the masses.
conscious discipleship training means not only from an academic standpoint, but as a life experience. This experience begins with an encounter with Jesus Christ, expression embodied the will of the Father. If such a meeting is sincere, and it becomes noticeable if the formation is producing its effects, then the conversion will come as something natural. Understood as not simply convert repressed sentimentalism, but the route back towards the source of life, once neglected by the negative actions of our lives.
Discipleship begins with the gathering and conversion, but mature in the hard struggle for loyalty to Jesus Christ. That is, the person stands in the way of wanting to better understand the words and the lifestyle of one with whom it has been found.
In the event that it acquires the status of disciple at least in the degree of monitoring, then most likely find other people who seek the Lord with a sincere heart, people, of which, by means of communion in their struggle, we no longer say friends, but brothers.
Finally, the brothers that celebrate life in Christ and have enjoyed its benefits, feel the desire to share the joy of life with others who are starting their discipleship or simply have not started. So begins the mission and this explains the why of it (cf. Aparecida , n. 278).
But none of the above-encounter with Jesus, conversion, discipleship, fellowship and mission, have some sense if we do not notice the dimensions of existence in which they are based.
any assignment requires context, and most immediate is the human context, because the first missionary-made man, then comes the EU context, it called those he wanted.
And as he was called to his vocation with the power of the Holy Spirit, then the second dimension is the spiritual story not opposed to "carnal", but as it follows the module to be suggesting the Holy Spirit the disciples.
At this stage of our reflection not hard to understand why the documents of the Church call the Holy Spirit the principal agent of mission.
Therefore, the whole process of formation of Christians is geared towards that which is specific to the Church, the pastoral and missionary (cf. Aparecida , n. 280).
IMPROVISA EVANGELISM TO WHOM THE MURDERER Call it
